New York |
Joined the Down town loop of Manhattan proceeded past Empire State Building, went to Greenwich Village and Soho, left that loop and proceeded on the Brooklyn Loop which took us over the Manhattan Bridge (very windy), drove around the old part of Brooklyn (you could get off and walk over Manhattan Bridge, returned to Down Town loop.
We then walked to the 9 - 11 Tribute Centre. There were 2 large concrete squares with names printed around the top, and these represented the Two Towers. Inside of these large squares was running water very sombre.
There were lots and lots of people there, we did not go into the Tribute Centre as there were long queues and high security present.

Caught our loop bus to continue the Down Town Route to Time Square, it got very cold, walked home as the traffic was building up.
Had shower to warm up and then went down to Lobby to check emails and met up with Monica and Michael (Melbourne couple) from Bus Trip and went and had tea with them in the Hotel Restaurant.
