Savannah

Savannah

Savannah Mariott Riverfront Hotel
Today [Sunday, 14 September] caught the first Hop On and Hop Off Bus at 9 a.m. to start our tour.    The tour only goes around the old town.    Lots of grand homes restored to then  1800 and early 1900's.

Property prices huge.    The town has 22 separate squares all with nice laws and trees, and lots of statutes.

A very pleasant experience tour.

Returned to the Hotel very hot and tired for a shower and are now going to the foyer to catch up with the news from back home and to send this.

Off to Washington tomorrow by train, taxi coming at 6.30 a.m.   Have enjoyed our time at Savannah.

  1. Another great look at your blog, Margaret I cannot believe you are doing all this walking. Good on you, the Airports alone sound unbelievable.

You must be having such an experience..
