Today [Saturday, 20 September] we walked down to Times Square again to catch Hop On Hop Off Bus for the Updown Loop. We went passed John Lennon apartment where he was shot, and then to the Strawberry Field on Central Park, carried on along Central Park to Grant Tomb where we picked up the Bronx Loop.

Travelled through the Bronx, this area was not as nice as other parts of New York that we had seen, lot of food outlets of many ethnics.
Stopped at Yankee Stadium for a short time, tried to get a look but to many security guards.
Returned to the Uptown Loop and through Harlem to Central Park where there was a parade down Madison Avenue, so had to detour, got off and walked to the Metropolitan Museum. Went into the foyer but did not go into the Museum.
As the road was still closed we had to walk through Central Park and stopped for lunch at the pond. They were hiring Sailing Boats (small) and were remote.
We walked through other parts of Central Park and then went out on to the street and continued to walk around Central Park until we found a bus stop.
We have walked miles and miles in New York, our hotel to Times Square is well over 1 mile.
Have updated some photos to blog before we go out again. Done Empire Building today view not good because of cloud. Bill looking up internet on boat there is none unless we pay so there might not be very regular updates, may have to take note book when we go ashore sometimes. But keep those emails coming we enjoy them.
