Salt Lake City - Bryce Canyon National Park

Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn
Journey through sagebrush landscape to BRYCE NATIONAL PARK with its 20 miles of sandstone cliffs and ever-changing colours. See some of Earth’s most brilliant shades of rock, sculpted by nature into pillars called "hoodoos."

Proceeded into Bryce Canyon Amphitheater which had huge columns for miles all different shapes and sizes.     We walked a distance around the edge and took lots of photos and movies.    It was possible to walk to the bottom but it would take a long time down and especially coming up but we did not have time to do this.

Proceeded further around and had another view and took more photos and videos.

This Canyon is unusual as it has no river in it, so during heavy rain floods happen very quickly.

The weather was good today occasional showers but temperatures were varied.

We have done a lot of walking and are both very tired.
