Yellowstone - National Park

Today, explore more of America’s first national park by returning to visit the geyser basins with bubbling mud paint pots and the reliable "blow" of Old Faithful. In addition to superb mountain scenery, the park is one of the world’s principle wildlife preserves and a photographer’s paradise.

Early rise this morning [Monday, 1 September] weather cold, but very good, had to be on the Bus by 8 a.m.

Went past the Continental Divide water on one side flows into the Pacific and other in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.

Old Faithful Geyser

The worlds most famous Geyser, discovered in 1870 erupts every 65 - 110 minutes. There was a board walk around this Geyser and seating to view. We did a half hour walk around the hot pools.
